After discovering my passion for the research of how built environments impact our well-being, I dove into different readings and practiced involving my findings into design. Here, I have displayed some of my findings and mini projects!
Designed by HBG Design and located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Gun Lake Casino project expands onto the existing Indian gaming casino. The new site consists of a four-diamond hotel, restaurants, a spa, and an aquadome.
Designed by HBG Design, the Legends Resort & Casino is reported as "an upscale $225 million venue with world-class gaming, luxury resort-style amenities and superior dining options, Legends Resort & Casino will offer entertainment options for everyone."
Using the Cincinnati Children's Hospital as our site, students were tasked to redesign the cafeteria in a way that impacted the workers, patients, and family in a positive light - challenged with a space with negative tones. See how I used my own story to inspire this experience-based academic project.
Using the abandoned site of Peter’s Cartridge Factory in Mason, Ohio, designers were tasked with researching the history of the site and creating a story with objects to display based on this history. See how I focused on influencing the experience and perception of the museum-goers.
Acknowledging growth within your own work is something I truly value. On this page, see an assortment of smaller school projects from my first few years and what I learned in the process!
